WHO do you see?

Hey people..check this out...cool illusion

Follow the instructions:

1) Relax and concentrate on the 4 small dots in the middle of the picture for about 30 – 40 seconds;
2) Then, take a look at a wall near you (any smooth, single coloured surface);
3) You will see a circle of light developing;
4) Start blinking your eyes a couple of times and you will see a figure emerging…..and
5) What do you see? Moreover, who do you see?

If you see something appearing now...if you like or want to...you can see HIM everyday by just looking at that 4 small dots.

Amazing huh?! Have a nice weekend:P

Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)

As you have already knew...that the Spice Girls has reunited. Although am not really a fan but I liked some of their songs, particularly this new single...

Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) by Spice Girls

The time is now or never, to fit the missing piece
To take this on together, you make me feel complete
We fall into the future, and through the looking glass
The light shines over our heads, and so it comes to pass

To go beyond the surface, to reach into your soul
This love is not demanding, my heart has told me so
I hold onto my heroes, with faith enough to fly
The power to imagine, will keep this love alive

Chorus:
Let’s make the headlines, loud and true
I wanna tell the world I’m giving it all to you
Let’s make the headlines, loud and clear
The best things suddenly happen when you are here
And if I lost my way you’d carry me home
Take me all the way to heaven, never leave me alone
And it’s just like everything matters when you are near

And it feels so good every bells gonna ring
Your love is alive and it’s making me sing
I could fly, wanna cry, want the whole world to know
We are together, come on baby let’s go

And words yet to be spoken
Will fall upon the page
Spelling out true devotion
Is all we need to say

Chorus:
Let’s make the headlines, loud and true
(Say you love me and I’ll say I love you too)
I wanna tell the world I’m giving it all to you
(Just remember what simple words can do)
Let’s make the headlines, loud and clear
(All that I have I give to you my friend)
The best things suddenly happen when you are here
(Just remember friendship never ends)
And if I lost my way you’d carry me home
Take me all the way to heaven, never leave me alone (everything)
And it’s just like everything matters when you are near (matters when you’re near)
(Say you love me and I’ll say I love you too)

Chorus:
Let’s make the headline true this time
(Just remember what simple words can do)
There’s no hiding from this magical state of mind
(I feel loved with you, I feel loved with you)
And if I lost my way you’d carry me home (I know, you take me, all the way to heaven)
Take me all the way to heaven, never leave me alone (everything)
And it’s just like everything matters when you are near (matters when you’re near)
(Everything matters, it really matters)

Lets make the headlines, loud and true
(I feel loved with you, I feel loved)
Lets make the headlines

‘Cause I’m giving it all
Yeah I’m giving it all to you

Spice Girls then and now

They looked so much better now..don't you agree.

10 things not to say to a DJ.....

Found a pamplet about a new night club in town located at Kompleks Asia City called the SPURS.

They stated 10 things not to say to a DJ while he's spinning inside the DJ booth..for humor konon. Don't know if it's funny but I find it a bit stupid. They claimed that they their sound systems is fully equipped with state of the art BIEMA line arrayed speakers from the US - the 1st of its kind to be installed inside a club environment in Malaysia. Mmmm...curious? Why don't you guys go check it out and tell me about it..cos I am not really a night club goer..hehe.

Vina Morales's Pangako Sa'yo

I got crazy (too overjoyed) when I found Vina Morales latest album Pangako Sa'yo on the CD rack recently. Normally, I could hardly find Philipino singers cd in any record stores..especially in Sabah. I think this album is a compilation album of all Vina's greatest hits - mostly ballads..oh I so like. I had to buy it (eventhough I was a bit broke) cos it was the last one...I cannot melepas. The last Vina album I bought was in 2001 in KL and it was a self titled album. She's one of my inspiration & favourite Pinoy singers after Lea Salonga. I just love her voice...the way she 'gogor' her voice is unique and her songs are very soothing to hear except some catchy tunes. She's beautiful too!

Check out this video when she won as the 1st ASEAN Icon recently this year. And remember the famous Philipino hit drama Pangako Sa'yo that starred Philippines No. 1 love team - Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa, Vina sang this beautiful theme song.

These days, am busy helping out in the Sabah International Expo 2008 (SIE2008) Official Launching this 3 Dec at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu...so I can only spare some time to blog during lunch time or after work if I not malas lah. Busy but not stress or tension at all cos listening to Vina really cools me down.

Natalie and Lester's Wedding on 17 November 2007

Last weekend, I attended Natalie (a friend and ex-colleague) and Lester's Wedding ceremony at Glory Christian Church, Luyang. The ceremony was simple but sweet and of course Natalie looked stunning and beautiful on her bridal gown. My best friend Melissa, sanggup drive all the way to Tamparuli to pick me up..she's really an angel..love her! I brought my little Carmen with me too. We arrived about 40 minutes late. Took a few photos...they actually don't allow anyone to take pictures of the bride and groom during the ceremony except the official photographer but me being so tebal muka secretly do some instant shoots without any flash and nah..most photos turned out so blur except these......

Nice potraits of the couple

Met my ex-boss, Ms Susan (whom is also Natalie's aunt)

Like Mother Like Daughter

Tinseltown Moments #2

This is 8 year old Ava Phillippe, daughter of Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon. Isn't she mini Reese?...she looks so much like her mummy

Blonde, beautiful, mother, an A-list actress and she's one of my fav - Reese Witherspoon

Talking about like mother like daughter....when I look at CJ, she looks like me when I was a little girl...it's a joy seeing her growing up so fast without realizing that she was just a tiny baby last year and am proud going through motherhood after all.

Career Expo 2007 & Launching of Sabah Job Centre on 13 Nov 2007

I was involved in the Career Expo 2007 yesterday organised by the Ministry of Resources & IT Development. There were about 90 booths all stretch up along the road near Wisma Bandaraya. Visitors who came to the expo are mostly job seekers whom are fresh graduates, school leavers and of course the unemployed. Many youngsters came to visit our booth cos we have an HR Manager with us from the Sabah International Dairies (the company that supplies the 'susu sekolah')...lucky for us and she has the recruitment form to fill by those job seekers....they all seems desperate to have a job. One of them..only has SPM qualification and without any working experiences expect salary of RM1,000↑....oh my guttt..I think working experience is more important and valuable than having a degree cert actually (it's only paper).

Anyways, at noon there were some performances by Adam AF2, Evoke from Gangstarz Reality Show (I heard they are Sabahans too) and other local artists. Unfortunately didn't get to see them cos me and my boss packed up earlier by lunch time and left the booth empty..kakaka but did manage to get some pics of the event lah.

My boss supposed to attend the last day of the International Women Executive Congress 2007 which feature one very interesting paper by Datuk Jimmy Choo, the world renowned London based Malaysian shoe designer (he became more famous for being the late Princess Di's favourite shoe designer..I think), but because of this expo she has to missed it..damn. Just imagine the fee to attend this conference (for corporate) is like RM2,580...but of course they invited quality speakers but since many complained that the fee is too high, they lowered it down to RM1,780..still expensive though.

Our booth surrounded by job seekers

Me with Stella (left..my boss) and Amarjit from SID

Datuk Dr Yee Moh Chai presenting the certificate of participation to my boss....look at the girl in the background...mau juga wanna be in the picture..kakaka

The stage...the local artists will be performing

Went to see this particular booth that quite interest me...these people from Ampal Production who handles the sound system that day (company owned by Abu Bakar Ellah..I think)

They are promoting and selling our local artists CDs...got a few ringgit discount on that day only

Instruction For Life

Here's something interesting to read and observe to brighten up your day. I posted this once in my previous blog and it's one of my favourite list to observe in life and I don't mind sharing it again. It's good!

Instruction For Life: A Mantra From The Dalai Lama

1. Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
2. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
3. Follow the three R's: Respect for self, Respect for others, and Responsibility for all your actions.
4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
6. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
7. When you realize you've made mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
8. Spend some time alone every day.
9. Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.
10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
11. Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second time.
12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.
13. In disagreements with loved one, deal only with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.
14. Share your knowledge (and talents). It's a way to achieve immortality.
15. Be gentle with the earth.
16. Once a year, go some place you've never been before.
17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.
18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.
19. Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.
