I would like to wish my family, my friends and everyone who stumble upon this blog to HAVE A LOVELY CHRISTMAS AND A GREAT NEW YEAR!!!!

My blog will be quiet for the mean time cos I'll be off for the season holidays.

And I will be 1 year older this Christmas eve...but I still act like a sweet 16..hahaha.

I didn't buy any X'mas gift & birthday present for myself yet but it doesn't matter cos she the love of my life is the best gift of all!

So be good now so Santa will fill your Christmas stocking.

Funny postcard

I was doing some spring cleaning in my bedroom closet at the weekend and I didn't know..I mean I forgot that I have been collecting Suzy's Zoo stuffs (stickers, postcards, bookmarks & etc). They are really cute stuffs...I just love that duck (main character) and of course her friends are cute too (don't you think so..I'm refering to young kids who might stumble on this blog and mothers out there who thinks this are good toy collections for their children..if anylah)

And then I found this Suzy's Zoo postcard sent to me and my cousin/best friend Corinna (correct spelling is actually Korina)by my twin sis while she was studying in Singapore many years ago...and when I read the contents..I thought it was funny and I was laughing alone like silly. I hope she won't get mad at me not telling her for posting about it.



The message from the postcard goes like this:

Hmm...right now..I'm in Music Class..we're learning history of Music..just finished Grade 1-3 theory last week..very boring. So gila oh the teacher...he ajar like telling ghost story...yaieeh! I geli...as if he ajar us like budak-budak...Bujang lapuk and abit nyanyuk already but konon MA in Music...you know the way he plays the piano so karas tau...so like robot! So badkan me. Saya mau lepas geram bah ni Corinna...Oh, Korina...apa macam sudah kau...saya miss kau...

You know...I konon want to go to KL on May 1-4 for SA Bible Camp..but don't know yet because I konon2 want to kerja cari duit bah. Siok already here I feel because got friends..puii!..I have a sort of close friend...a Muslim..Her name is Olla (Donna I already tell you kan)..always go to my room and cerita2 with me..so good tau..so funny...like our style.

I'm getting darker here..because of the jogging class...silaka betul..for final exam..konon we have to run 10.8KM....my..well, I feel so fit you know...my kaki..my betis got masol!! ha!ha! Nolah..none yet.. but I hope to have tough body soon! Taih lah! Ok, habis space already. Write to me soon! Love, DEBBIE

Handmade Art Project #2

I handmade this notebook last weekend while my CJ was having her almost 4 hrs morning nap. This is my 2nd handmade notebook project after this one. It didn't turn out that cute as I expected it to be. The theme was ♥Love Life ♥Enjoy Life ♥Happy Life and Believe in your dreams. I played with CJ's crayons and I ruined it a bit. I made it for CJ though....but she teared it at the end (maybe she doesn't like it). Oh well, I'll do a better one next time when I have more of me-time.

Heavenly Oreo

My cravings for Oreo cookies is so tempting right now and I just can't stop myself from munching them. I ate half a pack last night and I bought a pack again today..this time 'Peanut Butter n Chocolate Creme' flavour and then I dipped and ate them with my favourite HL Milk..just like a little kid and ya..taste so heavenly! Calories gained...(dah pun besar..tambah besar lagi..aduiii).

Thanks to my not so good friend who usually comes to visit me at this time of the month and make me want to eat..munch..junk..eat and then eat again (gudoot). Whenever I knew this friend would come to visit...my mood will swing to the blues and sometimes turned unpleasant but not nasty.. and I will still show my sweetness to people around me so I am still cool. This friend normally stays for a few days..sometimes a week (aargh)'^' but when she's gone I'd jumped in relief. This friend has a long name that sounds pretty ugly but for short I prefer calling this friend as PMS only.

Sabah International Expo 2008 (SIE2008) Launching Ceremony on 3 Dec 2007

This thing happened a week ago...now only got time to post about it. I am bossless today until Wednesday (yipee..goyang kaki/curi tulang..kakaka). Actually my boss is holidaying (early X'mas holidays..I guess) with her family in Singapore right now so I have all the office to myself...very unproductive today cos I always hate Mondays...I'll be rajin tomorrow then.

Anyways, the SIE2008 Launching Ceremony & Mock Cheque Presentation and Networking Luncheon was held at the Grand Ballroom, Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu. This will be my 4th SIE...am in the Working Committee. (Honestly, I am bit fed up with it but I just have to love my job). I say the launching part was a bit.....ah..uh..don't dare to say...see the pictures and I let you people do the thinking/saying lah.

We thought these pretty models supposed to help out in the Signing Ceremony but since no instruction were given to them..Stella and I had to be in the picture.

The lunch was western set and our main course is called Grilled Chicken on Spinach with Green Peppercorn Sauce & Pan Fried Pan Fried Pangasius Fillet with Apples & Walnut in Butter Served with Saffron Rice & Buttered Seasonal Vegetables...what a long name and the taste quite good except the chicken is a bit hard but I finished it until my piring licin..kakaka.

The dessert is called Apple Strudel with Vanilla & Pepita Ice Cream...1st class and I enjoyed it until piring licin also.

I say the launching was successfully organised except a few hassles from the hotel part but biasalah.

Now this event is over...I hope this month of December would be a quiet one..meaning to say no functions, no meetings and not BUSY. Christmas is coming up soon...not done any shopping yet but today I will do some window shopping first.

Watched The Nanny Diaries during the weekend. I've been wanting to watch this movie since the 'ciplak' dvd was released cos Scarlett Johansson is a great actress and this is Alicia Keys 2nd movie (just a minor role though) after Smokin Aces. Out of 10, I give this movie a rate of 3 stars only...it doesn't really show Scarlett's acting greatness, it was a bit slow and weird for me...but I still shed some tears towards the end and the best thing is it makes me want to spend time and love my child even more and respect my nanny at all times.

Lona & Khelex's Wedding on 2 Dec 2007

I attended one of my good friends & cousins, Lona and Khelex's evening wedding last Sunday, 2 Dec. They were both my bridesmaid and bestman at my wedding in 2003. It was also Lona's 30th birthday. I sang 'Here We Are' for them. I had the flu at that time and I thought I couldn't sing the notes...but some people told me that I sang well...(perasan). Overall, it was a lovely wedding.

10 things not to say to a DJ.....

Found a pamplet about a new night club in town located at Kompleks Asia City called the SPURS.

They stated 10 things not to say to a DJ while he's spinning inside the DJ booth..for humor konon. Don't know if it's funny but I find it a bit stupid. They claimed that they their sound systems is fully equipped with state of the art BIEMA line arrayed speakers from the US - the 1st of its kind to be installed inside a club environment in Malaysia. Mmmm...curious? Why don't you guys go check it out and tell me about it..cos I am not really a night club goer..hehe.

Vina Morales's Pangako Sa'yo

I got crazy (too overjoyed) when I found Vina Morales latest album Pangako Sa'yo on the CD rack recently. Normally, I could hardly find Philipino singers cd in any record stores..especially in Sabah. I think this album is a compilation album of all Vina's greatest hits - mostly ballads..oh I so like. I had to buy it (eventhough I was a bit broke) cos it was the last one...I cannot melepas. The last Vina album I bought was in 2001 in KL and it was a self titled album. She's one of my inspiration & favourite Pinoy singers after Lea Salonga. I just love her voice...the way she 'gogor' her voice is unique and her songs are very soothing to hear except some catchy tunes. She's beautiful too!

Check out this video when she won as the 1st ASEAN Icon recently this year. And remember the famous Philipino hit drama Pangako Sa'yo that starred Philippines No. 1 love team - Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa, Vina sang this beautiful theme song.

These days, am busy helping out in the Sabah International Expo 2008 (SIE2008) Official Launching this 3 Dec at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu...so I can only spare some time to blog during lunch time or after work if I not malas lah. Busy but not stress or tension at all cos listening to Vina really cools me down.

Mother and daughter photo was specially retouched and beautifed by Ben (Limadang)...million thanks to you Ben....I love it! You made my wrinkles disappeared and I looked like sweet 16 again..hahaha..now the photo looked like Big sister with her little sister. I SO love it!!!

Natalie and Lester's Wedding on 17 November 2007

Last weekend, I attended Natalie (a friend and ex-colleague) and Lester's Wedding ceremony at Glory Christian Church, Luyang. The ceremony was simple but sweet and of course Natalie looked stunning and beautiful on her bridal gown. My best friend Melissa, sanggup drive all the way to Tamparuli to pick me up..she's really an angel..love her! I brought my little Carmen with me too. We arrived about 40 minutes late. Took a few photos...they actually don't allow anyone to take pictures of the bride and groom during the ceremony except the official photographer but me being so tebal muka secretly do some instant shoots without any flash and nah..most photos turned out so blur except these......
