Getting inspirations...

I need inspirations - lots of it so badly right now!

"The artist is a receptable for emotions that come from all over the place, from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's web." ✒ Pablo Picasso

Some men also love it

This is a just a saja-saja post alright cos I'm trying to shoo away boredom right now (ha!) What I'm trying to say here is that...most young girls loves it like a snack but they could also be men out there...in fact even a male celebrity like him love it. Read further....

This is Yoo Ah In, a Korean celebrity which I've blogged about before on his killer smile and sexy pout?!

Anyways...what some men like Yoo Ah In also love is this...can you guess what I'm talking about?

Aha...this guy likes LOLLIPOP! He looks like a little kid. And then look at the next picture..looks like someone's (probably a fan) trying to offer him a lollipop and there's a wide happy smile on his face. Maybe this 'someone' was just teasing him. Check out this pretty funny fan-made video here.

I still heart Yoo Ah In...even with a lollipop:P

Singing in the bathroom

Check out who's singing in the bathroom/restroom (or whatever)??

Ahaa...that's Charice Pempengco!

I heard that singing in the bathroom has the most natural acoustics and roll off sounds and that is why people who sings in the bathroom sound better than singing in the living room or something.

Guess what....I always & always does this too:P Cool place to do vocalising!

Gotcha

Gotcha - no screwing Bella after all and this is the real picture. Gosh! Kristen is one lucky girl.

Anyway, I watched 'Vampires Sucks', a movie based on the Twilight Saga but in a humorous & very silly way...and they support Team Jacob!

More from Mama Rock later....

My random book excerpt #1

After my daily reads of my fav illustrator, Keri Smith's blog 'Wish Jar Journal', I'm inspired to follow her footstep to just simply post anything extracted from a book, the papers, it could be a photograph or a photo art from a book/mag & etc. This could happen if I'm out of ideas what to say in my blog by simply extracting out some short but interesting piece of article/photo from a book or mag - at least to update or post something in here everyday or thrice a week.

One example I got from 'Wish Jar Journal' is this...Keri's random book excerpt #38 which I liked. She extracted it from a book (I guess) "Wandering" by Herman Hesse.

I also liked the fact that she often post nice quotes such as....
To write: to try meticulously to retain something, to cause something to survive; to wrest a few precises scraps from the void as it grows, to leave somewhere a furrow, a trace, a mark or a few signs - By George Perec.

So I'm gonna start today my very 1st random book excerpt:

I extracted a picture of an art called 'Look Closer' by Regina Cross from a lovely 2010 organiser - a Homage to African-American Artists (I guess because of Obama's reign as US President) given by an associate from the US Embassy in KL.

What the year of the Tiger holds for me....

I was born in the year of the Dragon, and I read an article from the papers for those who was born in the year of the Dragon - here's what to expect and the things to watch out for in 2010 (year of the Tiger):

Dragon has water, hence will have money. It's a year of challenges but it will be good and smooth if he/she can manage his/her money.

He/she will have to avoid yin places like hospitals and funerals, avoid watching eclipses of the sun and moon.

Tap the energy of the full moon by doing exercises within its view. Wear a jade monkey, jade snake, smooth sailing beads and Ba Gua beads to stay on a smooth path.

About avoiding places like hospitals....being pregnant and giving birth this year, I guess that's not possible...that's the only most visited place I go to these days. And I'm pretty glad my baby will be born in the year of the Tiger (both Carmen and her daddy were born in the year of the Dog). I also read that people born in any specific year are believed to take on the characteristics of the animals.

Tigers are physically strong, independent and bold. People born in the year of the tiger are friendly but they also are short tempered and often take risks in their hunt for excitement. They seek attention and power too and often see themselves as a protector of the weak, so they are not afraid to speak up on any issue that they don't approve of. They are natural leaders who perform their best in positions of power and authority. Tiger people are generally charismatic and are popular but they are most compatible with people born under the signs of the horse, dog and dragons. (Yeah...the four of us - my husby, Carmen, the new baby on the way and myself are compatible and would get along just fine then)

Anyways, let's all have a tigerific year - happy, healthy and prosperous!

Opposite Attracts

Aya...I don't know if I'll have more time blogging this year...am trying to be productive at work this year (duh..konon) and my mood to blog is not there (not stimulated) just yet..so I created a new post label called 'Saja-Saja Post' just in case I don't have anything much or interesting post to put up - ha!

I will also try to jazz up my personal life this year...mmm..besides having a new baby in May, I will TRY to lose those baby fat after giving birth - be slim again, I want to do more arts as in painting & other creative projects, memorize at least 5 - 10 songs as in singing while playing the piano, start working on my online business, learn to dance well, play the drum, write a short children story (need an editor and illustrator please), be a member of the Sabah Society, etc...well those kind of stuffs. These are not my resolutions but just plans/goals to do this year...so it won't be a boring year.

Anyways, since I don't have much to say for now...I found some pics I took a few months ago of my neighbour's dog and cat - opposite attracts but they seems to be BFF. How nice and sweet if all dogs and cats can be friends like them huh?
