Look at these two pictures....open up your eyes wide enough so you can see clearly what's cool about them.
This is for the ladies
And this is for the guys
It is a cigarette holder but it's also cool to store namecards

Cool Mamas
Tinseltown moments #1
My two favourite celeb's and cool mamas!
Angelina Jolie and her adopted daughter Zahara with matching Valentino Histoire handbags. Baby Z is one lucky little girl and gets cuter everytime!
Gwen Stefani with her 17 month old son, Kingston.
Don't you just love her L.A.M.B Clothing Line?! She's truly a fashion icon.
Here is one NOT SO COOL BUT PITY MAMA......
Britney Spears
She looks more like mental patient here....I think being a pop star at a very young age despite being super rich is kinda stressful. I hope she would regain custody of her two young sons very soon (well, just hope she will get back to her feet soon enough) because these two boys need their mama than being cared off by their daddy and Britney's ex-husband K-Fed.
Read this out...a message from Paris Hilton on Britney:
I told Brit I’d write a bulletin on here to try to clear some news to at least the people who are on my list…
Lately, you’ve been seeing pics of me and Britney partying (blah blah) and she knows that some of her fans are very upset about what they call her “behavior” and sadly they’re blaming the issue on her being friends with me. Yeah, me and Brit have become really close in the past few weeks, and we’ve gone out a lot in the past few nights, but I never influence anything she does, and neither does anyone else.
Brit is her own person and she deals with her own things everyday. For people to call out her parenting skills on behalf of her partying ethics is appalling. Britney loves her kids to death, and I know for a fact that it truly hurts her when she sees these cruel things being written about her.
She goes home every night to her babies and partying has not come in the way of her parenting. Anyone who has called her out on this should really be ashamed. There are thousands of mothers out there who like to go out and have a good time. But, you do not see people out there calling them “bad parents” She’s young, and if she wants to go out and have some fun, let her. Just because she does these things does not mean she doesn’t care about her children. For the sake of Britney and her kids, be kind!
Love, Paris
That is something sweet to say.....yeah, I agree with you Paris!

Life these days
Finally...I have some time to share some new and not so new stories here. Again..have been busy these days...no time to really blog but can find time to read other people's blog..hehehe..I guess I'm a lil bit lazy to blog nowadays...but I was pretty productive at work though..so that's good!
Mmmm..let's recall some stuffs I did...
1) Escaped some time off from work last Wednesday afternoon, 24 Oct..right after attending a meeting. Had lunch at Kopitiam with my gal pal, Melissa..this time is my treat. Did not eat the curry laksa this time cos I was always adventurous in tasting something new....so I tried one of the menu of the day...I think it's called Nasi Goreng Andaman..honestly I didn't enjoy it but no harm trying.
Nasi Goreng Andaman
Showing a bit of regret in ordering the Nasi Goreng but still smiling
Melissa with her favourite curry laksa...and mine too
Afterthat we visited MV. Doulos..this could be my last visit cos I heard Doulos will not sail to KK again for she's too old (source said that she's as old as the Titanic) and it's time to put her to rest...but again another floating bookshop called 'Logos II' would come to KK but not sure when..maybe in a couple of years to come. This time I puas hati..bought the books that I wanted and like and some children books for Carmen too.
The closest you can get to an orang utan
Melissa chatting to one of the volunteers from South Africa
Some of the books I bought (which that I can afford..kahaha)
2) 1st attempt to write a children story..just started and just trying...then I'll get an English expert to edit my not so good English grammar and an illustrator..see if I succeed..wait for some update!
3) Trying out my selling stuffs skills (my dream to be a business woman someday still lingers on)...went to buy some packs of accessories like little purses, wallets and hairband which I think is nice and sellable from a retailer in Sinsuran. I tried to sell to some friends (me..being so tebal muka) and also get my Mom to help sell these little colourful purses @ RM2.50 each. So far, I managed to sell 4 purses. Hey...anyone interested to buy..very cheap one?
Colourful mini purses @ RM2.50 each for sale
4) I was invited by a neighbour to sing solo for her wedding this December...it has been quite awhile I have not been practising my vocal chords but I accepted the invitation. Have to find some nice wedding songs and a pianist later. Some of my friends are getting married in December...what a cool month!

Good Books For All at MV. Doulos
Visited the floating book fair, the MV. Doulos with my brother last Tuesday, 16 Oct. Lucky that day, no more long que and it was not at all crowded inside the ship..unlike last Monday that we (me, husby and our little daughter CJ) wanted to go to Doulos but when we saw the long que and plus the very hot weather..it was crazy..and end up just jalan-jalan at Kompleks Karamunsing...one of our main purpose to go to KK that day is to make CJ happy and look for some children toys and simply have a family outing. It is like..if I'm not mistaken..my 4th visit to Doulos..the last time I went was like in the mid 90's. Whenever Doulos comes to KK...I always never missed visiting her.
This time there were more children books...lots of choice. I bought some children's activity books for CJ but she will have to wait until she is a lil older..maybe 2 years +. I bought myself a nice notebook @ 150 units = RM12.00 to add to my notebook collections and a Doulos pen. I didn't bring much $ that time (sigh) but I might go there again to buy some story books and motivational books before Doulos takes off on 26 Oct. Didnt get to snap good view of the ship but still here's some pics.
My favourite section...the children books
I just love the children drawings of Doulos along the Jetty

Awesome sight of the Halo
This beautiful appearance of the Halo happened last week on 11 Oct, a day after the Soyuz TMA-11 Rocket (that carries our very handsome and first M'sian angkasawan, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar to Space) was launched from Baikonur, Kazakhtan. Everyone was talking or blogging about what they saw up on the sky that day.... I too don't wanna miss telling that I saw (mau jugak)....what they called the 22° Circular Halo. Actually..this was like my 2nd time that I saw the Halo..many years back. Ya..it was indeed an awesome sight..took a few photos from my office window.

First Malaysian 'Angkasawan' in Space
Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Sheikh Mustapha
Born on 27 July 1972 (35 years old) in Kuala Lumpur
Orthopedic surgeon, part-time model (I remembered seeing him appeared in some commercial ads and you can also see his face in the kotak Milo) and now the first Malaysian 'Angkasawan' to fly to space.
Everyone thinks he's drop dead gorgeous..oh yes indeed...I guess even the guys would love to be in his shoes that he's got all the package..the brains and the looks! But sorry girls...he's got a sweetheart (sigh). Sorry husby..I kinda have a little crush on him..just for funlah..hahaha.
It was really an interesting moments to watch the Soyuz TMA-11 Rocket launched live last night..I got goose bumps when they did the countdown...scary and excited that I crossed my fingers that nothing wrong or tragic will happen. I noticed there was a nervous look on Dr Sheikh's face but we Malaysians are all proud of him. I am so inspired with US Astronaut's Peggy Whitson, Commander of the Soyuz Misson and is set to be the first woman to command the International Space Station (ISS). Such a tough woman and she even walks like a man. Her quote "One of the special things about the view of the Earth from space is that it is one planet and that it is very beautiful. I think it is a good illustration of the fact that there don't need to be any wars"...extracted from the Daily Express today....nice one!
Let's all pray and wish Dr Sheikh's safe return to Earth on Oct 21...probably he'll get a Datukship after that.

Sunset Walk & Stolen Art
Been extremely busy the past two weeks...mostly busy at work and then being a mama after work. Am just quite tired nowadays..usually from not getting enough sleep from most of the nights..you know..er I don't mean that *** but having a young child waking up in the middle of the night wanting to be pampered is common for any mama.
Well, what have I've been up to lately?...I forgot most of it...too outdated that sometimes I'm too lazy to blog about it..but anyway here's some boring entries..
Two Sundays ago..my CJ loses her balance while walking and fell on the floor and had a deep cut under her chin. I got a bit panic because the blood was flowing profusely and thought her wound need to be stitched. Husby and I quickly rush to the hospital..but thank God no stitching needed but I got teased by the nurse saying...Anak pertama kah?....Me said ya..and then nurse said..patut pun risau betul...kalau saya kan..anak saya jatuh dulu, luka dia kana 5 jahitan lagi tu..sia relax saja...and then me tidak mau kalah ni said..bah ko nurse kan. Poor CJ, she will have a little scar on her chin..hope it will not be visible by the time she jadi sumandak (young lady).
To make my CJ happy, brought her for an outing at the beach at Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort that evening. Since she is addicted to walking freely on her own now..I let her feel the sea water and walking at the sandy beach...she just love it. Then we watch the sunset together, it was a beautiful day with the strong sea breeze. CJ's 1st outing at the beach was at Nexus Karambunai Resort when she was just about 6 months.
Last week met up with one of my gal pal, Melissa for lunch at Kopitiam, Warisan Square...we had a delicious chicken curry laksa..forgot to bring my dig cam at that time cos we just spontaneously meet up so no pics but I bought Melissa and for myself this cool little angel egg that lights when shaked. Melissa chose Dolphin. Another collectible item...
Latest mama-mama punya project...doing a scrapbook for CJ. Cutting pictures of babies, little kids, toys, colourful papers, Disney's Princessess and other cartoon characters etc and then pasting them on to the sketch book...making it colourful and stimulating as possible...hope CJ likes it!
Stolen art.....
Was at my mom's place last weekend...so was my brother Disney and family...my little nephew Delbert is 9 months now and starting to crawl already. Wanted to practise my voice and piano..but not jadi when I saw pieces of my arts which I thought was lost being creatively decorated on my younger brother Danny's room wall...I said what the he**...my stolen art..haha as if there were valuable, priceless, famous or something..but I was long time looking for these art pieces..I don't remember Danny asking me permission to get them. It's ok..let's just leave my so called art there at the mean time with all those spider webs..kakahaha. By the way, Danny is studying to be a teacher now at Maktab Perguruan Tawau.
Art title: Beautiful Life
I can't recall the exact year I done this mixed media art but I remember I was still in high school, still a teen in the late 90's.
Used to be a sort of an art construction (not sure what to call it) made of a very old cds..not that kind of cd we use now. I really forgot what title did I gave it. I got myself into a huge argument and fight with a member of my family (sorry cannot mention name) and she acted like a devil and smash this construction and all these colourful painted cds by me were ruined by her devilished act..how could she!! I didn't paint or do any arty stuffs again after that..for a while.
Sorry pictures are senget..anyone kind enough to teach me how to fix it..am still blur!
