Simple New Look

I went for a haircut last weekend with Debbie. Just a simple trim for me and Deb highlighted her hair with cool streaks. I suppose to spend the afternoon with CJ but I need some 'me time' once in a while and suggest to Debbie that we drive around and explore places around Tuaran only. (Our little Proton Tiara is not fit enough to go anywhere further...haha)

We had lunch at the D'Dalit Transit Restaurant, located along Jalan Sulaman, Tuaran. Their menus are not so bad...mostly common Malay food but I had their 'Transit Nasi Goreng Special' (rice fried with chicken, seafood, beef & 1 chicken wing and an egg aka mata lembu)...taste pretty good.

Later, we tried to check out what's new in Tanjung Badak Resort. Pity that they don't maintain that place well anymore. We didn't get to go in after seeing those guys who works there starting to drool with the sight of my sexy sister...muahaha. So we just drove and drove to some unknown kampongs till we reached another anglers haven at Sulaman Lake Resort & Floating Restaurant.





Tuaran is starting to become an interesting place to visit because of it's vast eco-tourism opportunities - we have the beach resorts, the fishing village, famous seafood restaurants, a crocodile farm and even their kelapa bakar and coconut pudding is sort of well known here.

Stamp Collector

Yes, I am a stamp collector...before. Thanks to my mom..it was she who encouraged my siblings and I to start this hobby when we were barely teenagers cos she is a collector herself. Now...I am thinking of reviving this past time hobby but might only focus on a theme such as mother & child or anything on family and women. Last month, I bought some stamps that features this theme (see above photo) for like 10 cents each at a mini exhibition of antique stamps and coins and a stamp album that I would dedicate to my daughter, CJ.

This is Kuma-Kuma the turtle attached with a matching purse. I thought it looks like CJ7.

They're all cutees. I like them and buying them makes me happy..it's just to cheer me up and to release tensions due to work and personal stress.

CJ7 Collectibles

CJ7 collectibles is on sale now...finally. I bought a CJ7 stuffed doll for my Carmen since her nickname is CJ too and a keychain for my collection...cute stuffs!

Carmen loves her CJ7 doll so much. Last night she woke up in the wee hours, having night terrors again but she suddenly stops crying and then starts smiling (I thought she's acting weird) when she picks up that doll....seems like it could comfort her...and again like the previous nights, we slept in the living room. I had insomnia again so I continued watching the Korean Drama (Which Stars Are You From) until 4:00am. I've been sipping lots of coffee and tea like everyday now and my eyes looked like panda eyes from not getting enough sleep.
